Thessaloniki & Halkidiki
Thessaloniki is Greece's second city and the university, port and trading hub of the north. The Aristotle University supplies student and academic tenants all year; Evosmos is the dense residential district to the west. Halkidiki, south of the city, is the mainland's beach region reaching into the Aegean: Kassandra with its developed resort towns, Sithonia with quieter pine-fringed coves. It is reached by road from the airport with no ferry, which removes the seasonal constraints islands face for summer lets. Tenants are students and professionals in the city, summer guests and weekending Thessalonians on the coast.
