Summary

For citizenship through property, the official sources state at least US$400,000 and a three-year no-sale note; for the other monetary investment routes the threshold is US$500,000. For a short-term residence permit by title deed, the Migration Management document list asks for a home worth at least US$200,000 in lira at acquisition; the permit runs for at most two years each time.

A foreign investor who buys property in Türkiye has two separate official routes: citizenship by investment and a short-term residence permit. They are handled by different institutions, with different thresholds and different outcomes. This report collects what we could verify in official sources as of 29 October 2026 and says plainly where we could not.
